Features of the All-English Taught Program

 

1.Courses are taught entirely in English.

2.English teaching and counselling mechanisms are strengthened.

 

The departments under The Center for Holistic Education all adopt full English instruction. Therefore, all forms of course design (syllabus, reading materials), teaching and interaction within the classroom, assignments, reports, as well as exams, are to be written or performed entirely in English by the teachers and students of said departments. This enhances the English proficiency level of students and allows for a smooth transition process into their junior year abroad. Through the two main counselling axes of " Helping students connect with professional knowledge" and "All-English learning skill sharing," the effectiveness of student learning is improved. Increasing the English proficiency counselling mechanism and the use of English proficiency software by students, is beneficial towards students connecting with professional knowledge. Teachers and outstanding senior students are also invited to share their learning experiences and tips on studying within an all-English taught learning course.
