Memorandum of Understanding
Tamkang and the New Taipei City Government's Cultural Affairs Bureau signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the aim of cultivating students' understanding of the localized culture in New Taipei City and enhancing their international perspectives. Together, we will provide opportunities for cultural promotion internships, so that our students can participate in art and cultural promotion activities and pursue career development paths in both public and private sectors.
Subject On Student Credit Transfer Regulations
Freshman Students of Departments in collaboration with the Center of Holistic Education who applies for the Youth Culture Ambassador of NTPC program, passed the application review and is accepted into the training program (16 hours, scheduled for 2/27-2/28/112), will be considered to have completed one of the topics of the 111-2 Exploring and Implementing Social Issues Course with the proof of your study hours and the writing of a report.
Activity Information:
I. The "New Taipei City Cultural Ambassador" program has been recruiting since 2022. Many students from our school are currently participating and those selected through the screening process receive training. Formal trainees receive complete training and engage in service learning and creation. Those who are certified as New Taipei City Cultural Ambassadors will have the opportunity to exchange with foreign youth organizations in the future. For details, please refer to the brochure.
The deadline for the 2023 signups is on January 31, 2023. Students who are interested in multicultural affairs and want to cultivate their skills through this program are welcome to sign up and demonstrate their diverse skills on the international stage.

III. Registering for the "New Taipei City Cultural Ambassador” at TKU:
1. Time: From now until 5:00 pm on December 21 (Wednesday).

3. Screening method: All students at the university are eligible for application. They are required to submit and upload their basic information, resume, bonus points, along with any relevant supporting documents. The university will then select and recommend 10 students to the New Taipei City Cultural Bureau based on the submitted materials. Students who fall short of the recommendation list can still apply for the program by sending their applications for the program directly to the Cultural Bureau.
